Services Provided
Cranborne Counselling offers short or long term counselling to individuals and trainee counsellors. We understand our clients lead busy lives, we therefore offer a balance of day and evening sessions.
From listening to our clients we have come to understand how deciding to begin counselling can really feel quite scary. It is for this reason that we offer a 30 minute introductory session for new clients, free of charge, and with no obligation to book further sessions.

Our Approach
Cranborne Counselling respects and adheres to the ethical framework of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). Counsellors at Cranborne Counselling are accredited members of the BACP, this means that their standard of work has been checked and found to be of the standard required for accredited membership.
Counsellors at Cranborne Counselling have regular supervision to ensure their fitness to practise and engage in continual personal development through attending workshops, lectures and conferences.
The counselling therapies and techniques used by Cranborne Counselling are as individual as the clients we work with. Alongside the traditional talking therapies we use psychoanalysis, transactional analysis, gestalt or may work with other creative styles. The important point is to style the therapy to what suits the client and their situation best.
